Busker Do!
Barry of the Waffle and Whinge blog turned me onto this video in the comments of the previous entry, and it's pretty awesome.
I hold a special place in my heart for street performers and musicians. I love the fun or intriguing spins they can put on tunes that have, for all intents and purposes, been utterly played to absolute death. And, they do so with nothing more than a vision and whatever instruments they have that are in playable condition.
There's something really genuine about that, and I wish more of today's tedious pop acts would challenge themselves on dirty street corners a million miles away from the auto-tuned tripe they claim to sing.
