Not much of a story. I think they were handing these buttons out at the theater when this movie came out way back when.
I've got all sorts of crap like this from various movies. Somewhere, there's a Godzilla versus The Smog Monster button, a King Kong (the one from the 70's with Jessica Lange) mug, a Jaws plastic shark, pilot's wings from Airport 77, and who knows what else?
I remember getting something from the first Star Trek movie, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it is.
I actually kind of miss those days when theaters would hand out all that cheap swag during the opening weekend matinees.

I bet you were totally into Jessica Lang. Every boy I knew back then was! LOL Godz vs Smog... my fave Godz movie!
